Subject: Seeking suggestions for Exclude list for TDP for Exchange

I've posted this yesterday and got one response. I'd like a little more
feedback if possible. The following was suggested for excludes:

EXCLUDE *:\EXCHSRVR\...\*.EDB"
EXCLUDE *:\EXCHSRVR\IMCDATA\QUEUE.DAT"
EXCLUDE *:\EXCHSRVR\...\EDB.LOG"

Since the database files are not backing up because they are open, I feel I
should also exclude:

EXCLUDE *:\EXCHSRVR\...\DB*.DAT"

Do you feel this is a good idea?

Do you have any other suggestions for the Exclude list?

Thanks,
   Al

I've just started working with TDP for Exchange 2.2 on a Win2K machine
running Exchange v5.5. Since the TDP product is backing up the Microsoft
Exchange data it seems logical to me that the BA client portion should
exclude this data for two reasons. (1) The files are likely open all the
time and (2) TDP is already backing them up. What I would like to know is
what excludes you are using for the BAClient portion. Would "EXCLUDE
*:\EXCHSRVR\...\*" seem reasonable or are there files inside these
directories that are not backed up by TDP?
