We are running TSM 4.1.0.0 server on SUN Solaris 8.
A SUN 8mm Mod. 8500 device has been connected and it works correctly for
Solaris, we can do mt and tar commands, but when we try to label the
tape for TSM with either TSM commands
1- DSMLABEL
2- LABEL LIBVOLUME
we get the following error msgs and and the tape is ejected.

1- # ./dsmlabel -drive=/dev/rmt/5mt

Could anyone suggest a solution to fix this situation?
