Bruce,

The problem with the password is probably because
you didn't specify CLUSTERNODE YES in the TDP for Domino DSM.OPT file.

The password encryption depends on the value of the CLUSTERNODE option.
In one case, you are specifying that it is a cluster node
(on the dsmcutil install command).... but in the other case
you are not (DSM.OPT file).

Try adding the CLUSTERNODE YES to the TDP for Domino
DSM.OPT file and reconnect with the TSM Server in order
to store it in the registry again. Then redo your
service installation.

If you use the incorrect password or it is decrypted the
incorrect way, the TSM API code will remove the password
from the registry.

please call IBM/Tivoli support.
