DISKDIRS Question

I'm running TSM 4.1.4 on Solaris 8 with a 4.2.0 client.  I set up a
test system using the Red Book "Getting Started with Tivoli Storage Manager:
Implementation Guide".  After running a backup, I try backing up from the
DISKDIRS
storage pool to the OFFDIRS and get "ANR2111W BACKUP STGPOOL: No data to
process."
I'm using the "REDBOOK" option set which has "define clientopt redbook dirmc
directory".  Any suggestions as to why there is no data in DISKDIRS?
