We are currently running backups using ADSM v3.1 on AIX 4.3.1. We are
moving the service to TSM v4.1 on Sun Solaris 8.

Does anybody have any suggestions for moving the database? Will RESTORE
DB work in any fashion, or am I stuck using DUMPDB and LOADDB?

I performed a test run of the dumping and loading of the database. It
took 60 hours but correctly transferred/transformed the database to it's
new home. After reading through the list archives I discovered that it is
normal for LOADDB to take this long and the FAQ says to not use it.

Here's hoping I'm not one of those "rare cases" that must use it.

Thanks in advance,
Robert Kennedy
