Using TSM OBDC Driver with Excel
2001-05-17 11:49:07
Has anyone seen this problem and know how to overcome it?
Using the TSM OBDC Drivers with Excel to import information regarding the
admin schedules into a spreadsheet, the STARTTIME column always shows up
with all zeros (00:00:00) for the time. If I issue the very same select
statement from either the DSMADMC command line, or via a macro running in
the background, the STARTTIME column shows the correct times in HH:MM:SS
format.
In trying to schedule the million housekeeping chores that need to get done
in one 24-hour period, the start times are very important to us. And having
it put in a spreadsheet automatically, as opposed to a flat file created by
the macro, or massaging the flat file by hand into a spreadsheet, is very
much preferred.
