1) Is this target system possible?

***  You cannot restore ADSMConnect V1 backups from TDP V2.
***  You can restore ADSMConnect v1 backups with TDP V1.
***  You should upgrade (free) the ADSMConnect V1 to TDP V1.
***  TDP for Exchange V1 and TDP for Exchange V2 will coexist.
***  So, you can keep TDP for Exchange V1 around just in case you need to
***  restore a backup taken with ADSMConnect V1 or TDP V1.
