Yes, this is somewhat blatant advertising, but perhaps more useful than
annoying:

We are contemplating holding our TSM Advanced class reasonably coincident
with the TSM Symposium being held at Oxford in September.  However, in order
to make this work, we need at least eight paying customers to attend.  Cost
will be $1900 USD.  This is a TSM V4.1.x course and will perhaps be a 4.2
course by that time (assuming 4.2 ships in time for us to get the course
updated).

Neither Tivoli or IBM is offering a 4.1 course so this is it.  The goal of
our course if to enable certification by the student.  Complete course
description is available at our website.  We offer this course in the US at
least four times per year.  With the level of student we generally get, the
knowledge transfer is amazing: both from the instructor to student and
student to student.  This is another opportunity to rub shoulders with the
best TSM has to offer!  It might also help in your cost justification for
attendance at the Symposium.

If you are interested, contact me offline.  We will hold the course either
the week before or the week after the conference.  Once we have enough folks
we'll make a more general announcement.  What we have here is your basic
chicken and egg problem.  Could also be a Field of Dreams kind of thing: if
we build it, they will come.
