Your Migration of H50 to ??? depends upon lots of factors.

1. What is TSM Database size?
2. Are you looking for TSM Availability or Performance?

If you keep log and database files on separate disk it's going to give you
good performance. But you should consider tuning other parameters also. If

We are migrating our environment from F50 server to H70. Of course we have
many parameters to consider. We have implemented Flash copy for backup on
Shark system. It backs up data without interference of client.

Important thing for availability is not to use AIX mirroring. SSA disks are
better for performance if they are configured 16 or 24 disks in a loop. 36
Gig disks are intended for high capacity, so it's better to use them for
disk pools only.
