Hi Fellow TSMers, we recently bought a 3583 LTO Scalable Tape Library
and had it connected to a H70 running AIX 4.3.3. The installation and
definition to TSM went well, however, when I tried to backup multiple
clients, the backups occured serially, ie, one after another as TSM
doesn't allow multiple mountings to occur. Has anyone experienced
this phenomenon ? All the 3 drives are SCSI attached to different
adapters within the H70. Is there any parameters to set within AIX or
TSM to allow multiple mounts ? the mountlimit parameter in TMS has
been set to DRIVES. It that correct ? Back our main site, we have a
3494 with 8 3590E1A drives but the mountlimit sepcified was the
actual number of drives the TSM servers were connected to. Could it
be this problem ?
