To the Engineers:

ACSLS libraries cannot be defined as shared. How will customers with ACSLS
libraries use the SAN backup functionality of SQL and Exchange agents? In
the broader sense, how will these customers be able to use any of the newly
arriving SAN features of the product?

There seems to be no technical reason for an ACSLS library to be shareable.
Granted, ACSLS obviates the need in a classic TSM library sharing scheme.
But in the case of clients with the Storage Agent, a shared library is
essential.

Would someone care to comment on this and perhaps add it to an engineering
"maybe" list? Lots of folks are quite stuck at this point.

Thanks,
