Stefan,

TDP for Exchange will back up to a TSM server.

If you have a TSM server installed on the
same machine as the Exchange Server, then you
could accomplish this...but you would have
the overhead of maintaining that local TSM Server.

The other option to look at is LANFree backups
to "local" SAN storage.
