You must be kidding me.. hehe
ok.. one last question.. if I do an inventory the tapes are taken out of I/O
and placed into the slots.. how do I know if the tapes are labeled
properly.. do I care ? or is it done automaticly.. ?

It's GUI - go control pannel - computer management - removable storage -
now
you should see

Media pools
Physical locations
Work queue
Oprator requests.

in physical locations you should see library and drives - check it
in media pools you should see "tsm\server1\library name" , unrecognized and
free locations  -check it
in work queue - you should see operations RSM started against library
in operator request - you can see request for example open io stations (
but
this operations
creates pop up window in the same time )

base operations inject / audit you can initialize from Physical locations -
select library and open with right click -

I am sure you will fall in love with RSM before you will end this
instalation.
