People
I am trying to do a restore of a large array with limited success.

A. I try to do the restore from another node and type in
res -subdir=yes -repl=no -nod={"clientA\d$"}\* client B (specified as drive
letter on the local machine).

all I get is a msg saying 'waiting for files from server'.
Nothing else happens, it's like the process just hangs.

I have issued this command successfully in the past, so I know it works. Server
reboots have not solved this prob.

B. I then try to do a restore on clientA to clientB as (I map a drive to clientB
first)
res d:\ k:\ -subdir=yes -repl=no

no success here again.

Here's the annoying twist:

1. If I issue the command on B and direct the restore to a local drive on
clienttA all works well.
2. If I issue the command on B and restore a single file to the remote machine
all works well.
3. Everything in A and B work fine when using the GUI.

This is driving me insane, has anyone else seen this, I desperately need a
resolution.

TIA

Toni
