Firstly, review the doc - mainly, readme files for server install and quick
start book (on the CD and Tivoli web site).

On Win2K, the install procedure should create the service; all you gotta do
is configure it (Auto start, run as service, use local system account, etc.)
either thru the AdminTools-Services applet, or the TSM Server Utilities. If
you're using 4.1 or later, you might need to create the service with
dsmcutil; more typically, Server Utilities, initial configuration, helps a
lot with addressing this and other issues that arise in a Win2K environment.

Hi There...........

Does anyone know how to install and start the TSM server as a WIN2000
Service.
I do not intend on using the TSM Server Utilities. I want to put the TSM
server initialization into a script.

Tks in advance!!
