I believe the location is ftp://ftp.storsys.ibm.com/devdrvr/ but I
cannot get into that directory right now.  If your attachment is SCSI
then that is correct you will need ATLDD to drive the library.  If your
attachment is ESCON, then you need a different driver, something like
MTDD, and they are definately different (I have run both attachments to
a 3494, currently running SCSI attached 3590s).

found the latest ATAPE drivers but I was told I need other software to
communicate with the 3494 library manager (called ATLDD?). Can anybody
