Hi,

perhaps you need modify your dsm.opt and your tivoli command to make back
ups.

Our log says that our back up ratio is 910 KB/s for our IS (we have token
ring) and in the tivoli command we have /BUFFers:8,4096 parameter. Our
dsm.opt have (for WinNT-Exchange Server with 1 GB RAM and biprocessor system
Pentium III 500)

Our ADSM Server in OS390 v3.1 have, for this kind of backup, one 2 GB pool.
