You can change the log retention to only retain n number of days.

Hi friends,
I am having problem with my log files in my AIX clients. If we do backups
through scheduling, the dsmsched.log file will be created at where you ran
the dsmc sched command or when you define the dsmlog environment directory.

How can we disable the dsmsched.log file from being created? There will be a
problem when the server filesystems is quite big and it changes most of the
times. The dsmsched.log file is appended the next time the schedule backup
runs. Can it be overwritten instead.

regards
Ameerul
