Hi:
at the command line do a q copy type=3Darchive or q copy type=3Darchive =
f=3Dd
to see your site definitions on archived files. Each archive is a unique
instance of what is archived and the number of days it is retained is
determined by the retain version values. Once you archive the file, you =
can
delete or modify the original file and the archived file still 'lives' for
its retain version value.

I'm little puzzled by 'The life of the archives are have nothing to do =
with
updates to the original files. ' stmt. pls explain..
How do i know which ones to checkout and will i be able to restore if i =
ever
need to ?
