NO....
if you archive filea on moday of each week into a archive copy pool with a 
retention on 365, at the end of the year you would have 52 versions of the file 
and as you continued to archive each week, one would expire and one would be 
added, but you would always have 52.

And could i check them in for restore purposes later on.. would i encounter
any problems?
