Claudio,

The error simply means that TDP for Exchange is trying to restore
the database that you asked, but it cannot create the file
to restore to.  It usually means that something else
(like some other process/program on your server)
has the file open that you are trying to restore open.
Make sure you stop the Exchange Directory and Info Store services
before you doing the restore for the directory and stop the
Info Store service before doing a restore for the Info. Store.
It's always a good idea to stop and start the System Attendant
before doing any restores.

Some suggestions...
Try stopping the System Attendant and restarting it.
Then, try your restore again.  If it still doesn't work,
I suggest rebooting the server, stopping ALL exchange services,
restarting the System Attendant, and try the restore again.
This should take care of it for you.

If it still fails, call IBM support to open a problem
so we can get some traces to look at.

Hi Del,

The FIXTEST 1.1.1.01 ( IC25816_01.EXE ) is downloaded and installed  and
now,

when i try to restore a full backup,  i receive the following message:

"ACN4215E An attemp was made to open a file during a restore operation".

???

PD: Where can i see the old discussion of this forum...
