Good Afternoon.

This is a follow up to the loop/hang problem with the adsm/tsm client that
we and others have seen.

With a special version of the tsm client given us by the tsm tech support
folks we generated almost 2 gig of trace data on the windows nt 4.0 server
that was seeing the problem. And the file that was causing the problem
turned out to be a file in a directory holding windows nt service pack
install data, the file was inetmgr.exe, a file that is on every nt box that
we own. So this copy was corrupt as this was the only machine reporting
the problem.
If this file was transfered to another pc running windows nt 4 and nav, one
could reproduce the problem by a simple right click on the file in Windows
NT Explorer. So ADSM/TSM was ruled out as a cause of the problem. A reboot
is required to clean the looping program out of the system.

We sent a copy of the file to the NAV tech support and their response was
that we should delete the file.

If anyone gets a better answer from the vendor, please post here, so we
can all use it.

Thanks len
