I am getting the following errors when the logical logs back up on our test
Informix server. It says the log was backed up, but still the message
concerns me. As it shows below, it does not come up for every log. The DBA
told me Informix is set up to automatically back up each log as it fills in
the "event manager" (I am not real familiar with Informix, mostly what I've
learned about onbar while setting this up). I am trying to talk the db guys
into moving from using ontape to local drives for logs and level 0's to
using the TDP for our production servers (since I am responsible for
switching and maintaining these tapes), but of course I want to make sure
everything is working correctly first. Any input on these errors or TDP for
Informix in general would be greatly appreciated.
