Solaris is different than AIX if you are using the API.  The Solaris client
creates links to the dsm.opt in both the standard directory and the api
directory.  To use a second option file and nodename for an API client, you
will have to point it to an options file with a different name.  (I used
dsm.opt.api to get it to work.)

This problem has been called in and a design change was requested.
