It's documented in the B/A Clients manual, in the Setting Common Options
section. You can find pragmatic information about it under "DIRMc"
in http://people.bu.edu/rbs/ADSM.QuickFacts .
You didn't say what your client type is, but with some file system types
the DIRMc specification is pointless, in that the information is wholly
stored in the TSM database.
