Hi Chaps,

Ok, I have a question for you all...

We have an RS/6000 SP system with 6 silver wide nodes. One of these nodes is
the TSM server. We are running TSM server version 3.7.3.6 and TSM client
versions 3.7.2.14.

We had a MAJOR re-org this weekend and backed up about 47gig worth of oracle
data and restored it all. The strange thing is that I am a little confused by
the Aggregate rate. The Network data transfer rate is around 8-10 meg a second
(what I expect to see) and the Aggregate data rate is only around 500-800KB per
sec. According to my reckoning then it would take absolutely AGES to restore
47gig, but we managed it quite happily in around 2 and a half to 3 hours.

What is the aggregate rate telling me here??..thats its only transferring 500
meg a second, or am I reading this incorrectly???....

Kind Regards,
