Hi Terry,

Version 1.1.7 of AutoVault adds support for vaulting client backupsets.
Media will remain offsite until the backupset expires or you manually
request its return. AutoVault will also manage the offsite vaulting of
primary storage pools. This feature was designed for the vaulting of
archive data without the need of a copypool.
AutoVault was previously mentioned by Richard Sims and is now available.
Some of the features include:

* Intelligently manages and vaults all removable media containing TSM or
ADSM database backups, primary storage pool data, client backup sets, and
copy storage pool data.
* Creates a disaster recovery plan with all the necessary steps and
scripts to quickly restore an NT or AIX TSM/ADSM server environment.
* The restoration scripts AutoVault creates are ready to run with no
additional processing or software required.
* Creates reports for tape vaulting that can be automatically printed,
viewed through a web browser, and/or emailed.
* You can return offsite volumes to recover from an onsite media failure
with AutoVault's easy-to-use graphical interface.

It sounds like you do not have the time to create archives of your data. Our
upcoming backup set support is a good solution for managing your data.
AutoVault version 1.1.6 is available at
http://www.coderelief.com/demoform.htm. Version 1.1.7 which includes
support for client backup sets, database snapshot backups, and enhanced
management of database full and incremental backups is in its final stage of
testing. It will be available for trial and purchase within the next two
weeks.
