When carrying out a procedure such as adding volumes to the database,
you should be referring to the Admin Ref manual only for the details
of each command involved in the procedure. For the procedure itself
you should be following the Admin Guide instructions, which guide you
through the multiple commands involved in the procedure. The section
on Mirroring the Database and Recovery Log goes through the steps,
including dsmfmt.
