Are these incremental database backups?

Hi!
From one day to another (June 16th to be precise) one of our TSM servers
started having trouble with the automated database backups because the del
volhist job we implemented as an administrative schedule did not free up
the volumes/tapes anymore.
OS: NT40 SP5
TSM: 3.7 (no patches)
Lib: EXB220 with M1 drives
One administrative schedules runs something like "del volhist
todate=today-3 type=dbbackup" and no matter if this command is scheduled
or
executed in dsmc or over the web: I get an RC of zero and the message that
0 sequential volumes are deleted. Doing a "q volhist type=dbbackup" shows
at least 5 volumes that are old enough to be deleted.
Any ideas?
Regards,
Michael
