One thing to check for is "ANR0812I Inventory file expiration" message in
your activity log: if you see archive objects going away, some of those
could be your bogies.

If users are doing Delete ARchive, you could probably track that down in
the accounting records as sessions with no data transfer, which may show
up as conspicuous.  You may be able to get some sense also from the
Activity Log, per enabled events, etc.
