Mainstar has a software product that will monitor the ADSM server activity
log and alert you via email when errors occur.  MonitorPlus for Tivoli
Storage Manager can alert on both server and client errors.  The errors and
methods of alert are configurable.  The product will also enable you to view
your TSM client logs (dsmerror.log) from a single location.  Until the end
of this month, the Single Server version of the product is available for
FREE (the product does not expire).  You can download the software at
