AIX 4.3.3 - ADSM 3.1.2.50 - ACSLS 5.3

We are getting (what I consider) very long mount times in our STK PowderHorn
Library with 9840 drives. For a single tape mount, with no other activity on
the library, it takes almost 1.5 minutes. And it seems to get even worse
when there are multiple simultaneous mount requests. It appears that the
problem is on the ADSM side, since manual mounts from ACSLS only take about
15-20 seconds and mounts to our 3494 library only take about 35 seconds.

We are running ADSM and ACSLS on separate AIX servers.

Is this normal for ADSM/ACSLS? Are there some tuning parameters associated
with the ACSLS component on the ADSM server?

Any help would be appreciated.
