May I issume a command from dsm server to
a client node to tell it to run

tar -cf /dev/rmt0 /home

?

Assume we can do that.  Can I do this?

tar -cf XXXX /home

Where XXXX is a tivoli stgpool.

Sorry if the question is too simple.

I am new to tivoli product.
