Hello Craig,

I think you are stuck with the 'full' backup because the Win32 client
considers
a file changed if its NTFS file security descriptor has changed. And =
even if
you
have the same disk labels, the same ip address and the same node name =
that
should be the case for all your files as you have copied them from an =
OS/2
HPFS
to an NT NTFS partition (for more information see the "ADSM V3R1 =
Microsoft
Windows Backup-Archive Client" online-book, chapter 3 'Backing Up And
Restoring', section 'Backing Up New And Changed Files').

The 'Last Used' information is not used by the ADSM client to decide =
whether
a
file is eligible for backup or not. Just the date or time of the last
modification are used besides the file attributes (except the 'ARCHIVE'
attribute!), the file name and the file size (and the NTFS file =
security
descriptor).

The disk labels are no longer used in the v3.1.0.6 client but as far as =
I
know
this has no influence for the backup. This is from the readme file:

  - ************* If your current client version is 3.1.0.3 or lower,
    * IMPORTANT * existing filespace names will be migrated from =
volume
************* label names to Universal Naming Convention (UNC) =
names.
While the migration is transparent, it will affect the
way filespace names are specified, especially from the command line
    Backup-Archive client.

Mit freundlichen Gr=FC=DFen,
Met vriendelijke groeten,
With best regards,
Bien amicalement,

CU/2,
                Dirk Billerbeck
