Thanks for that info. I'm not convinced that it the filespace name change
thats causing the full backup. It seems more likely  (I'm trying to verify
with IBM support) that the move from HPFS to NTFS that telling ADSM that the
files have changed. Either way I guess that fact is it ain't gonna work.

Interested in your restore info. We had no problems in testing when
restoring the old inactive OS2 files to the new NT server. Possibly because
we used the same hostname/IP as the old OS2 V2 client and therefore already
authorised ?? 
However, do you think we may be in trouble if we want to restore an OS2 file
to a different client/node. (eg a central restore server)
