I have a problem with an OS2 backup(Client V 3.1.0.8). It is in
a regular nightly backup Schedule. For some reason it is producing
many many sessions and they will not cancel. Any Advice or hints
would be most appreciated. We run TSM 3.7.2.0 on AIX 4.3.3.0.

I get these errors on the server

 ANR0444W Protocol error on session 1879 for node RPDCON06
  (OS/2) - out-of-sequence verb (type (Unknown)) received.

In the DSMERROR.log

 get ANS1809e and ANS1810E

Also:

TCPFLUSH error 0 sending data on tcp/ip socket 680
and
SESS SENDverb: error sending verb RC: -50
