Jeff - Database growth is principally a function of your retention policies.
       If you are doing Expire Inventory and all the other good stuff, then
the only other recourse is to delete objects, as in deleting Archive files
from the client or deleting expendable Filespaces in the server.  Be sure
to be at a current server level so that you aren't experiencing any of the
expiration problems of olde.  You can of course do Query Occupancy and other
such examinations to see where the most files are, which is what inflates
the database.
