Larry,

We just went through something similar a couple of weeks ago. We had a F
drive that was not getting backed up. There
was just NO mention of an F drive in the nightly DSMSCHED.LOG. I tried to
add a domain statement and specifically point
to the F drive. At that point, I actually received an error message. It
basically said the drive was not defined
correctly. I went back and searched through the list and found some
references to this problem. What I ended up doing
was adding the NT "SYSTEM" account to the permissions for this drive with
"full control". After that, the drive backed
up fine. I am still not sure exactly WHY I had to do this, though. We have
100+ servers here, all with multiple drives
and this is the FIRST time I have had to do this to get all of the drives
backed up.

Larry,

You might want to try looking in the dsm.opt file and see what the DOMain
is set too. If you don't set anything up for the DOMain, then by default it
backs up all local drives. If it is not st, you might try defining a DOMain
statment in the dsm.opt file.

DOMain C: D: X:

Hi:
Is there a limitation on ADSM / NT clients that require no 'gaps' in the
drive letters?

We have a server with a C; D: and X: drive. C & D back up but X does not. I
think we noticed this before when the next drive letter was not the next in
sequence
