Hello,
we are having a problem a restore of Windows NT long file names,
held on a Netware 4.11 server. I've seen a lot of correspondence on this,
but no recent answers.

We have restored a full Netware 4.11 server onto another 4.11 server, using
ADSM 3.1 Level 0.6, and all the long file and directory names are truncated
to 8.3 characters. I found an old note from IBM (Dec 1997) stating that this
is the way it works. Is it still the case that if you restore a long file
name to a different location, the long file name is lost? That does not seem
to be the case when restoring individual directories

Cheers
