For those of you who has stand-alone auto-loading
3590 Tape Library Model B11...FYI.
We've encountered the following I/O errors from our
3590 library. The I/O start appearing since February and
"big blue" initialy recommended to ignore it until it starts
reoccuring. Only until recently, yesterday, had they
decided to replace the library. Our nightly backup has not
ecountered anymore I/O error, although it is early to say.
If you do see these errors and you can't seem to figure out
what's causing it, there's a good chance your library is dying
a new one will definitely fix it. It's only $7K. heheee
