Hello,

we have just bought a new S7A server and we are trying to connect it to an
Comparex library with 3490 and Magstar drives. We are running ADSM 3.2.1.50
version and 4.3.2 AIX. The connection with the 3490 is made through an ESCON
channel and with Magstar through SCSI. The problem we are having is that, from
de Operating System we are able to reach both, the Magstar and the 3490
libraries, but from the ADSM there is no way to access the 3490 library.

What we had before was a J50 model, MCA, an everything was working perfectly.

Does someone have this configuration: PCI server connected to a library through
an ESCON channel?
