You need to install the latest version of the Oracle ADSM client.

This bug is so glaringly obvious that I discovered it on my first test after
installing the software, as you seem to have also.
The base version of this client must have escaped captivity too early.  The
question is why are they still shipping the buggy version to new customers for
them to trip over this?

and while deleting jobs I get

"Error deleting Backup job (Error 1).

However I can do backups,I do not get any API or ADSM errors,
only thing I can do with my backups is unvalidate them but
not delete them even after invalidating them.
