We have a similar problem with a couple of volumes on AIX with ADSM
3.1.2.42. The problem is caused by missing volume segments. The good news is
that the problem is now fixed in this release. The bad news is that you have
to do an AUDITDB to clean up existing volumes in this state. See APAR
IY02469 for further description.
