In a test enviroment, with AIX 4.2.1 and Tivoli 3.7.2, I am trying to
use a Powderhorn STK silo with 9840 units connected with fiber through
EMULEX LP8000 adapter, the following is the contents of devconf file:

If, after having mounted a tape via acsls command, I use the /dev/mt0
directly from AIX, i.e. with a tar of large amount of data (2-3 GB), all
works fine; if I use it in Tivoli TSM I had the following messages:
