Does resourceutilization come into play on a restore?  I don't think so, at
least not yet. Works great on backup, but not restore.  Given that, you may
want to start multiple restore streams to different filesystems and pray for
a lack of tape contention.

I see from your plan that you don't believe this is going to be particularly
speedy.  I wonder if the
-ifn won't be the same speed as doing the complete restore.  I recently had
the experience of a restore like this and it sure looked like it read every
the experience of a restore like this and it sure looked like it read every
file from the tape and compared it to any it found already on disk.  Took an
excruciatingly long time.  We stopped that nonsense and just did
a -replace=all and got on with it.

Would you keep good statistics re. this restore and post them here for our
edification?  It's good to have anecdotal data about large restores.
