and even if you do, or if your managemant class specifies
"Migration Requires Backup?: No" (as ours does), of course the whole
file is backed up, not the stubfile. This backup is done via a server
internal copy, if migration and backup servers are the same. It would
make no sense to have the stubfile as active backup copy.

For "dsmc restore "-RESToremigstate=Yes" to work, ADSM does not need
a backup of the stub. Online help says:
                Note:A stub files created during a restore or retrieve
                     operation contains the information necessary to recall
                     the migrated file from ADSM storage. It does not
                     contain any leading bytes of data from the file. Any
                     recall mode previously set for the migrated file (for
                     example, migrate-on-close or read-without-recall) is
                     not stored in the stub file. The recall mode is set to
                     normal for all files restored or retrieved to stub
                     files.
