What version is your ODBC driver.  There was a problem with the 3.7
ODBC driver.  You can get the latest from

ftp://ftp.software.ibm.com/storage/tivoli-storage-management/maintenance/client/v3r7/Windows/i386/LATEST/single/

Have you tried a different product to connect to the adsm database  (i.e.
microsoft access, lotus approach, etc..)?

Hello,

We are having problems connecting to ADSM 3.1 database with PowerBuilder
7.0
via ODBC. We use the default settings, we only configure username,
password,
server, port and protocol - the basic stuff. PowerBuilder gets a session
open with ADSM but it doesn't return anything, it just takes 100% of the
client PC's CPU and stays there showing the hourglass. Has anyone got
suggestions what we could do to make this work??
