you will have to kill the dsmserv process ( I presume you have root access
if you can make sure no backups are running )
then start  adsm in the forground
/usr/lpp/adsmserv/bin/dsmserv
from here you can type
upd admin admin <password>

this will reset your password
then  type halt
then you will have to start adsm in the background
checkout command in the initab
lsitab -a  | grep dsm
