Hi,
I have similar problem, my problem was the timeout, i increase the timeout in
dsmserv.opt , another problem that i have was the libobk library of Oracle, i
rename this file before to link the Api.

Hi all,
I' ve a ADSM server 3.1.2-50 on Solaris 2.6 and I have Oracle 8.0.5 on
another machine
with The Connect Agent.
The configuration of the agent should be right because it connects to
the server with aobpswd!

I' ve created the rcvcat and registered the database I want backup.

So, when I give this command in RMAN:
run
                     {
                       #ENV is case sensitive
                       allocate channel t1 type 'sbt_tape' parms

'ENV=(DSMI_ORC_CONFIG=/opt/IBMDSMoba/dsm.opt,

(Is the example on the installation guide of Connect Agent), I get:

I' m not sure about 'sbt_tape': I don' t know if is right for every
machine, if not I don' t know what is the right one.
