Norton Ghost is the way to go to quickly duplicate an NT OS disk on many
platforms.  We use it in our *SM instruction lab and we rebuild all 10
systems in less than five minutes through the network.

I like this idea as a bare metal restore technique using *SM as well:  Ghost
the main image including the *SM client software.  Edit the options file as
appropriate and then fire a restore of the drive from the *SM server.  Shut
the system off.  Turn it back on and away you go.  The system will  look
like it did at the time of the most recent incremental backup.

This should be very fast.

I mixed some questions in here: configuring NT and bare metal restore.  But
aren't they really one in the same.

I should also mention that Norton Ghost is extremely reasonable in price.
